Your website on SDA's is the worst bit
of authorship and scholarship we have ever seen.
You write absolute rubbish that is not even worthy of comment
The Catholics do not believe in the Bible and the Bible only
SDA's love Jesus as their only Saviour and believe that works
can not save.
You seem to be very prejudiced
Please remember that the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH is also a sect
Nowhere is Peter called a pope in the Bible - James was the first
church leader,
Hope you get over your frustrations and loneliness and personal
problems
My reply (me in blue, him in black):
Hi!
Your website on SDA's is the worst bit of authorship and scholarship
we have ever seen.
You write absolute rubbish that is not even worthy of comment
Well, then I guess you can prove
me wrong, if you say that. But I guess you won't prove me wrong.
Because in actual fact, what I say IS true.
The Catholics do not believe in the Bible and the Bible only
Nor does the Bible teach that we
should. In fact, the idea that we should "believe in the
Bible and the Bible only" is contrary to the Bible's own
teaching.
SDA's love Jesus as their only Saviour and believe that works
can not save.
Catholics teach that too. If only
you could be objective about this matter.
You seem to be very prejudiced
No, not really. I am just sick of
Adventist dishonesty when it comes to the Bible and Catholic teaching.
The more Adventists lie about us, the better able we are to show
Adventism to be misled and unscriptural.
Please remember that the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH is also a sect
Nowhere is Peter called a pope in the Bible - James was the first
church leader,
The Catholic Church is THE Church
founded by Jesus Christ. Adventism cannot claim that. In its attempts
to make Catholicism look bad and defend its existence, Adventism
has had to do away with a lot of the Bible, and its own version
of the Bible even reverses many texts.
As for James being the first leader, there is not one scrap of
biblical evidence to support that myth. Jesus chose Peter to lead
the Apostles - there are plenty of texts to show that. And just
compare the prominence of Peter in the New Testament to that of
James - James doesn't even come close. Peter is named far more
often that all the other Apostles COMBINED, he is always named
first unless there is good contextual reason. I think you'd find
it very hard to defend your faith if you actually tried to. But
I guess that won't happen ... very few Adventists are biblically
literate enough to make a case for their beliefs from the Bible.
Maybe you are different, but the tone of your e-mail to be is
not Christian, it is based on anger, and anger is often based
on fear - in this case, fear of the truth. If you could prove
me wrong, it would be your Christian obligation to prove me wrong
instead of sending bitchy e-mails like this. I guess time will
tell whether or not you are sincere, or merely offended by the
truth.
Hope you get over your frustrations and loneliness and personal
problems
And, from my side, I hope that you
get over your hatred for other churches, and your dislike of the
truth about your own church, and that you some day sit down with
the Bible and read it without the bias Adventism has instilled
in you.
God bless,
Stephen

Thanks for your hate letter
Same as your hate website
His most recent remarks:
7 Feb 2003:
are you afraid to identify yourself or
your church on your website?
You seem to be a sad and bitter person
Accept Jesus as you only Savior and the Bible as your only creed
This is what I and my church (SDA) believe
8 Feb 2003:
You are talking about early Catholic
writers - remember that the early Christian church for the first
400 years kept Saturday, the Lord's day, the Seventh day as the
Sabbath (read Bacchiocchi wo (sic) did his doctoral research
in the Vatican University and was given a medal by the Catholic
pope)) . A pagan emperor (not a Catholic) changed it to Sunday
the day of sun worship, just read what Constantine says!!! THIS
IS NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE - in fact the Catholic Church says:
[ the usual propaganda snipped ]
My comments:
He has clearly not read my website enough to see that I give my
name and religious affiliation there, and he thinks he can make
such remarks? He also makes the long-outdated claim that Constantine
changed the day of worship - he refers me to Bacchiocchi's book,
but if he had read it himself, he would not be claiming Constantine
changed the day. Then he goes on to quote the usual propaganda
instead of looking at authentic and official Catholic teaching.
It is sad that the truth does not serve his purpose, but unfortunately
he does not change his goal, and simply ignores truth and resorts
to myth and legend.
